Book Design
In the same month that I received my university diploma, my little brother graduated from high school. It seemed only fitting to pass on the wisdom I had gained to him. For his graduation gift, I created a book filled with tips and tricks for surviving university and navigating young adulthood.

Visual Language
Throughout this design, I drew inspiration from the textbooks I grew up with in the early 2000s. This influenced my choice of coil-binding and scrapbook-like visuals. Holographic covers were extremely popular when I was in grade school, so I used the bitmap feature on Photoshop to craft images to create a similar feel.
Choosing Elements
It was crucial that throughout my process, all of these graphics could be reused throughout the module’s evolution. This came down to timeless styles and smart uses of formatting.
