Sticker Design
This project, for my Digital Illustration class, was to create a sticker decal using only 3-5 colours. This project introduced me to universal colour styles, sticker printing services, and more!
This Cool Cat sticker is currently placed all around Halifax, Fredericton, Moncton, Charlottetown, and even Toronto!

Outside of the assignment rubric, my personal goals were to make something a clever and funny idea, whilst designing my own typeface.
When creating this sticker, I wanted to use colours inspired by traditional style tattooing. As for the cat himself, I was inspired by local Halifax hipsters. His tiny beanie, Blundstones, and tattoos were all things that I saw at local cafes and craft beer breweries.

When writing the words ‘cool cat’ into the smoke of this illustration, I was influenced by the typeface GoodKitty designed by Ethan Dunham. I originally drew it in Procreate, on my iPad, then traced it on Adobe Illustrator with my laptop trackpad.
